In my family, we've always had Great Danes. There was one particular dog, Bess, that really became a very close friend for my mother. When Bess died, my mother struggled to find a good photo of her to frame. All of the photos were small or even blurry, as often happens with pet photos. I sent two of those not-so-great photos to Todd Belcher, hoping that he would somehow be able to use them to create a portrait of Bess.

Not only was he able to design a lovely work of art, but Todd also captured Bess' heart and her lovely eyes, truly bringing her back to life on the canvas."
