Did you know that during the World Wars, Pit Bull Terriers were used as mascots for the Army? Seen as symbols of bravery, loyalty and determination, they were incorporated into recruiting posters and other marketing materials. Many dogs also served as soldiers. #octoberispitbullawarenessmonth
